“My mouth shall tell of your righteousness and Your salvation all the day…” Psalm 71:15
Psalmist was happy to testify of both God’s righteousness and His salvation and to do so all day long. He felt the entire day was needed because he did not know the limits of God’s righteousness and salvation. The psalmist is only interested in telling of God’s righteousness, not of his own, Man’s righteousness is filthy rags, there is no righteousness under heaven or in heaven comparable to God’s righteousness. God has pledged himself to save those who put their trust in him, and as a righteous God, he cannot deny himself. King David experienced so many deliverances from King Saul to his own son Absalom right from his early life to his old age. David has been rescued and delivered because of God’s righteousness every time when he put his trust in God.
On this resurrection Sunday, let our mouths tell of the righteousness and salvation all day long which we received through God’s only begotten Son, Lord Jesus Christ!
