“Behold I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah 32:27
God declares His power by asking Jeremiah a very simple, straightforward question: “Is anything too hard for the Lord.” Just the way He rebuked Sarah when she wavered at the promise of God when she did not believe that she could bear a son at her old age. God is simply saying to Jeremiah, Sarah and all of us that nothing is beyond His power and that nothing is too difficult for Him to do. All of us struggle, at different levels, with the problem of unbelief.
What is that problem that has taken you out of the way of God, God wants you to know that He is able. Is it diseases, Our God is a great physician, God can cure all diseases, is it poverty, the gold, the silver, the diamond are His (Haggai 2: 8), is it famine, drought, Our God owns the rain, our God who fed the children of Israel in the wilderness can still do it again, He never changes, is it disaster or war, Our God will restore all we have lost like Job in the bible (Job 42). Is it a shame, pain, sorrow, hardship, our God is able to turn it all to Blessing, honor, and glory. The greatest impossibility ever is God becoming Man, God whom heaven of heavens cannot contain was confined to a human body to save all of us. With God all things are possible!
