The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Rejoice in HIS Salvation.

Yet I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.  Hab 3:18

It is not easy to praise God when we are going through trials and troubles in our lives.

This was the same situation for Prophet Habakkuk when God revealed to him beforehand that the Kingdom of Judah was going to be punished for her sins by the invasion of Chaldean's.

He trembled and felt hopeless. He wrestled with God in prayer on behalf of his people. He pleaded God for mercy. But, when he looked back upon the past experiences and observed the great things God had done for his people, immediately Habakkuk's heart was filled with joy. He chose to delight in the Lord, the God of the salvation of their souls, even when everything was gone.

Yes, the enemy can destroy all our possessions and we feel like everything is lost, in the day of our trouble. But, remember that he cannot touch those souls, who put their trust in God’s strength and those who rejoice in the Salvation of the Lord. Our God is mightier than our enemy. Jesus had won the ultimate victory on the cross. And our faith in HIM, prepares us for every situation, as we claim His victory and walk in His commandments.
