In Isa chap 30, God complains on the Israelite's, that they were:
– rebellious people
– lying children
– Children that will not hear the law of the Lord
Even when their backs were turned to Him and going far away from Him, yet with a voice of love, compassion and great patience, the Lord pursues, pleads and says to them, ”This is the way, walk in it.”
Is it not the same with all of us?
Even when we were determined to travel the highway to hell, loved everything else more than God or mocked God with our self righteousness, still the voice of God, had called us and still calling us, even today, ”This is the way, walk in it.”
God gave us a definite pathway.
JESUS is the WAY! The only way to the Father. Even while we are yet sinners Christ died for us. He is the only way to eternal life. His grace is sufficient for all of us to be saved.
Now when we hear and obey His voice, make sure we obey the instruction ”walk in it”. Now the voice speaks in front of us and not behind us because the Shepherd goes before HIS sheep leading the Way!
