*“Behold my angel shall go before you.”* *Ex. 32:34*
This is a promise given by God to Moses, assuring him of the future when Moses intercedes on behalf of the people of Israel at Mt Sinai.
This is an excellent example of God, showing how He can use His angels to protect His children. The Lord promised the Israelites that an angel would guide them to the Promised Land of Canaan.
His angels are at His command to protect, to deliver, and to enforce. Angels have been assigned by the Lord to watch over every believer. – For He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. To protect and defend and guard you in all your ways (Psalm 91:11).
God is the king and commander over every army, both spiritual and earthly, and He mobilizes them to accomplish His purposes. “He who forms the mountains creates the wind, and reveals his thoughts to man, he who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth–the LORD God Almighty [Jehovah Sabaoth] is his name.” Amos 4:13
