The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Standing still with God!

“….stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.” Job 37:14.
Standing still enables us to focus and become attentive to our surroundings – in this instance, it's a reverence to the Word of the Lord. As the world today is at a standstill, regardless of the location of where people are, every human being is experiencing some sort of stillness in their lives – which is an excellent opportunity to fine-tune and shift our focus once again towards God.
Indeed when we see the incredible works of God, it leaves us in awe. “Do you know when God dispatches them And causes the light of His cloud to shine? Do you know how the clouds are balanced? Those wondrous works of Him who is perfect in knowledge? Why are your garments hot? When He quiets the earth by the south wind? With Him, have you spread out the skies, Strong as a cast metal mirror?” (Job‬ ‭37:15-18‬).

We have a God who does wondrous works without number. (Job 9:10). We cannot duplicate His works or imitate the glory that's revealed through these wondrous works. God’s glory cannot be shared or substituted. “I am the Lord; that is my name! I will not yield my glory to another or my praise to idols.” ‭‭(Isa.‬ ‭42:8‬).
