As one whom his mother comforts, so I will comfort you – Isaiah 66:13
Life in this world will not be bed of roses. Everyone will have their own cross to bear. However, out of all this turmoil God is promising that He will comfort us. He is affirming that He will comfort like a mother comforting her child.
Like mother, God cares for us. In new testament, Holy spirit is our comforter and helper. He is the one who convicts the world concerning sin, righteousness and judgment.
God is our comforter (“who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God” – 2 Corinthians 1:4)
Prayer: Father God, please comfort and deliver us from our afflictions, In Jesus name I Pray – Amen!!!!
