The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

God’s Tabernacle

Let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them – Exodus 25:8

The God of the Bible always like to dwell among His chosen people. We read in Old Testament that the tabernacle was in the middle of the camp surrounded by all tribes of Israel. Tabernacle then, was a prophetic picture of the redemptive purpose of Christ.

In New Testament, we are the temple of the living God.  Do you not know that you are God's temple and that God's Spirit dwells in you? If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and you are that temple – 1 Corinthians 3:16-17

Tabernacle also speaks of the ministry of Jesus Christ. "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt (lived) among us, full of grace and truth." – I John 1:14. Furnishing of the tabernacle represents the day to day walk with God.

If we take one step towards God, He will take 10 steps towards us. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you – James 4:8

Prayer:  Thank You Father for the gift of the indwelling Holy Spirit, who testifies with our spirit that we are your children. In Jesus name I pray– Amen!!!!
