The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Lord, you are my God

Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago – Isaiah 25:1

Isaiah 24 is the prophecy about Judgement of God. Even during that time, those who trust in the LORD will praise Him and we see that they have a personal relationship with God by calling Him as “my God”.

Praise and worship should become a habit of a Christian. Moses after passing the red sea along with the Israelites sings in Exodus 15:2 as “The LORD is my strength and my defense; he has become my salvation. He is my God, and I will praise him, my father's God, and I will exalt him”. Like Moses, we have to thank God in all our circumstances by meditating on the past breakthroughs which He has provided.

Exalting God with our past victories helps us to overcome the current battle. “Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus” – 1 Thessalonians 5:18.

Prayer: Father God, help us to exalt you by declaring all the great works you have done in our lives. Your faithfulness endures forever. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!
