The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Rejoice in the Lord

Isaiah 61:10 “I will greatly rejoice in the Lord; my soul shall exult in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation; he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself like a priest with a beautiful headdress, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.”
Good morning to you all; as we start our day reading the scripture from Isaiah 61:10, we can easily notice that the prophet Isaiah is filled with joy out of his comprehension, the joy he mentioned was unachievable by his own work. He is greatly rejoiced by the great mercy he received by his creator; therefore, he is rejoicing in God because His God has clothed him, covered his nakedness, and saved him from being exposed and vulnerable to his nature. We often have taken these for granted and skip the essential things continuing to get busy with our day without thanking Him and exalting Him for what He has done for us. Providing us the protection and covering, clothing us with the garments of salvation, covering us with the His robe of righteousness. The righteousness we never can achieve without His love, grace, mercy, and work in and for us. The righteousness which provides an anonymous glow and attention like a beautiful headdress of the bridegroom, and as a precious jewel of the bride to be adorned. So let’s start our day today with exalting Him with the precious gift of salvation and righteousness we received by Him.
Prayer: Dear Lord Heavenly Father, mighty wonderful God, Lord, I thank You for Your many gifts of pardon, peace, and purity – of faith, hope, and love. But above all, we thank You for the greatest gift of salvation and righteousness through Christ, for this the greatest of all gifts, in Your dearly and beloved Son, Who died to redeem me with His innocent and precious blood, and Who lives forever within my hearts. Lord, I pray this thankful today and remember that every day of my life I have on this earth preparing myself to rejoice in heaven with you, Amen.
Have a blessed day!
