Luke 17:5 “The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!”
When the apostle asked the Lord to increase his faith, Jesus replied. “…..“If you had faith like a grain of mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” That proves the statement “When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.” Jesus promised that “ask and it shall be given, seek and you will find and knock and the door will be open for you.” Often we overlook and either out of our ignorance or our shortsightedness suppress our trust and faith which stops us from receiving what He has already provided for us. We overlook what we already have and do not recognize what is inside of us. When we accepted Christ Jesus as our savior we already received the faith. Now we must ask for courage to use that faith to increase faith of all who have not received Him as their savior. Let’s, start our day by asking Him for a courage exercising our faith in one single area of our daily lives, showing others that to whom we trust and have our faith is the alpha and omega, Whole universe and whatever is in it is created by Him and for Him. And everything we do bring glory to Him because it is not us, it is He who lives in us provides us the strength to do amazing things.
