examine and probe our ways: whether we have true repentance for sin and true faith in Christ. Let us compare our thoughts, words, and actions in order to find out the cause of sin and correct it by the word of GOD which is holy, spiritual and righteous.
return to the LORD: turn out of our sinful ways by acknowledging our iniquities and return to the LORD who receives us graciously and is ready to forgive.
Prayer: Almighty LORD, help us to search our own hearts in the light of the word and guide us to depend on your ways to be blameless at your sight. Amen!
