It is the joy of faith in the LORD as my God and a very great one, joy unspeakable and full of Glory. For he has clothed us with garments of salvation. This garment beautifies and adorns us, keeps us warm and comfortable. It secures us from the storms of divine wrath and vengeance. The plural form of garments may denote the fullness and completeness of salvation from all sin, wrath, health and damnation. It's a salvation so great, a garment so fitting and suitable and free of cost and an everlasting one.
