The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Praise The LORD

I will praise the LORD while I live; I will sing praises to my God while I have my being. Psa. 146:2

Praise takes our minds off our problems and shortcomings, and focuses them on God. Praise leads us from individual meditation to corporate worship. Praise causes us to consider and appreciate God’s Character. Praise prepares our hearts to receive God's love & the power of the Holy Spirit. Praise lifts our perspective from earthly to the Heavenly.

The most basic reason for our praise to God is that He is worthy to be praised [Hebrew halal – praise with a loud voice]. The ancient meaning of halal is to cause to shine. Thus, when we Praise, we are aiming the spotlight on our God, who is worthy and deserves to be praised and glorified.

Let's worship & praise Him today while we are alive and have our being.

Have a Blessed Resurrection Day.
