Christ risen from the dead, and became the firstfruits of them that slept. 1 Cor. 15:20
Our God is long-suffering and gracious. God sent His only son, Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins and raised Him from the dead. He will raise us from the dead, if we believe in Jesus Christ.
Hosea 6:1-2 says “Come, let us return to the LORD. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us, but he will bind up our wounds. After two days he will revive us; on the third day he will restore us, that we may live in his presence.”
No matter how far any of us have strayed, His promises to the church are as sure as His promises to Israel. His chastening rod may hurt or wound us, but His promise of grace will help and heal.
Father God! Thank you for Jesus, our hope and salvation. Your promises are true for you have remained faithful to all Your children, who trust in the Lord as Savior, for which we praise and worship you in Jesus name, Amen!!
