Therefore, return to your God, observe kindness and justice, and wait on your God continually. (Hos. 12:6)
A victorious Christian life is a series of new beginnings. We all make many mistakes in our lives due to our weaknesses, but to become a victorious Christian, one needs to “repent” and “return” to God. Old Testament has several examples, and one such is the life of Jacob. We see that even though he started his life as a “deceiver,” God corrected him and gave a new beginning and changed his name from “Jacob” to “Israel.”
Because of other priorities and temptations, if you are wandered away from our God, today God is asking you to “return” and start a new beginning. If we observe kindness and justice and wait on God, rest assured that He will give a better end than the beginning like Jacob and others.
