“Even to your old age, I am He, and even to gray hairs I will carry you.” – Isaiah 46:4
It is a well-known fact that a mother carries a baby in her womb for 9 months. Thereafter, both the parents will carry their children until a certain age.
But in this verse, our God has promised to carry us right from the time we are formed in the mother’s womb until our advanced old age. He is the one who has fearfully and wonderfully formed us in our mother’s womb and so, we can trust our Maker to carry and sustain us all through our lives.
Are you burdened by a great challenge that is weighing you down? Be encouraged that the One who carried the weight of our sinful burdens on the cross, is capable of carrying us from the womb to the tomb!
