“I bowed my head and worshipped the LORD, and blessed the LORD…” – Genesis 24:48
Abraham sends his servant to his country to find a bride for Isaac, his son. As the servant reached the city, he cried out to the Lord to grant him success by guiding him to the right girl whom He had planned for Isaac. God answered his prayer and led him to Rebekah, who later became Isaac’s wife. Soon after he saw that his prayer was answered by God, the servant did 3 things – bowed down, worshipped and blessed God!
Likewise, we might have prayed and cried out to God for His guidance to make many important decisions in our lives. I’m sure God has answered and led us to the right paths. But did we take time to thank Him, heartfully? Today, let us take time to bow down, praise(bless) Him for all the answered prayers and worship Him for He is a prayer-answering God!
