The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Do not be troubled, but Believe!

“Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me.” – John 14:1

Narrative behind this verse:

Speaker: Lord Jesus

Audience: Disciples

Message:  Let not your heart be troubled!

Reason for being troubled:

·      Jesus revealed that one of them would betray Him.

·      One of the leading disciples, Peter, would deny Him.

·      Also, in a little while, Jesus will be leaving them to go to Heaven, to prepare a place for them.

Naturally, this led to worry, anxiety and fear among the disciples.

This morning, are you anxious, overwhelmed, troubled in your heart, about something which God has revealed or tasked you to do? “Let not your heart be troubled!” Instead, let us believe(trust) God and entrust our lives to Him, in order to experience the peace which surpasses all human understanding!
