Did you know that there were many empires in world history, but the largest in the world is the British empire, which covered 22% of the earth’s land mass? Interestingly, the only thing all the empires had in common is that they had all disappeared.
The worldly emperors were also limited in their capacity and tenure. In contrast, the Lord God reigns forever! He is the creator and sustainer of everything in this world. In addition, our God is a sovereign God, which means that He has supreme authority and power over everything in the Heavens, on the earth and under the earth.
So, let us submit our lives to His authority and bow down to worship our Lord God who reigns and sovereigns!
