“…listen to me, my children, for blessed are those who keep my ways.” – Proverbs 8:32
The word ‘Blessed’ occurs 287 times in the English Bible (KJV). The Hebrew word used in this context for ‘Blessed’ is ‘esher’ which literally means being happy and prosperous. This is quite different from the worldly meaning of being blessed.
But, how to experience this Blessing? There are two things which God wants to teach us.
– Firstly, we should have a daily lifestyle of listening to Him by reading and meditating His word.
– Secondly, by living a life in conformity to His word.
Let us make it a habit this year, to daily walk with God and have a thirst and a hunger to listen to Him in order to experience true satisfaction and eternal blessings.
Blessed in the man who delights in the law of the Lord…(Psalm. 1:2)
