Look at the 3 words in today’s verse – Walk Stand Sit.
A temptation starts when we walk in the ways of the worldly, stopping and considering to follow them and actually doing them. This is how sin enters into our lives, very subtly and leads to the downward fall of man.
But glory to God! Jesus bore our sins in His body, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. He forgives our transgressions and lifts us from our fallenness. He saves us by His grace and ultimately calls us “Blessed”.
As Blessed of the Lord, may we delight in HIS Word and be satisfied in His presence. May we choose to walk in His counsel, stand in His righteousness and be seated in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus.
