The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Pray with Thanksgiving!

He knelt down on his knees three times that day, and prayed and gave thanks Dan. 6:10

Prayer is the duty of a Christian.
Daniel, a man of prayer, did not flinch a bit when he knew that a law was issued that no one could worship God for 30 days and will be put into lion’s den as a consequence. It’s a matter of life and death if he chooses to pray. But still, Daniel resolved to pray 3 times a day, not complaining, but giving thanks.

Daniel’s prayer life
– was consistent which showed his dependency on God
– was uncompromised to any law which showed his submission to the sovereignty of God
His act of kneeling down showed his humility, urgency and deep devotion to God.

Like Daniel, may we be committed to have a consistent prayer life. May our prayers please God and honor Him, than man. May we depend on Him to fulfill HIS purposes in our lives.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
