On the Palm Sunday, as Jesus entered the city of Jerusalem, people praised and honored Him saying “Hosanna”, which means “Lord, save us”. On that day, He was exalted as the King and the promised Savior from the lineage of David, who came into this world to save them from the Roman oppression. Little that they know that Jesus was going to save the entire world, even the Romans, if they believe in HIM. It was a triumphal entry, before Jesus took the trial on the cross.
Jesus died on the cross, a single sacrifice for all our sins. He rose again on the third day and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. To Him belongs the blessings and honor and glory and power. And in His appointed time Jesus is going to come again as He has promised.
As we await the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, this time as a judge, may we continue to worship and exalt Him, for He is the King who reigns forever. May we say with all our heart, Maranatha, which means “Come, O Lord!
