But Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” Matthew 19:26
Napoleon quoted, “The word ‘impossible’ is not found in my dictionary”, we are living in a world of all possibilities but Jesus Christ clearly says to His disciples ‘With Men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible’, when asked by disciples ‘Who then can be saved?’ after a religious rich young ruler who kept all ten commandments met Jesus and asked what good work he still needs to perform to attain Eternal life, however, the young ruler went away sorrowfully when Jesus asked him to sell all that he had and give it to the poor, for he had great possessions.
With men it is impossible to attain God’s Standards of living a perfect, sinless, blameless, and selfless life to inherit heaven. For by grace, we have been saved through faith, it is a gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast (Eph. 2:8-9).
With God it is possible:
– To Choose foolish, weak, and base things to put to shame wise and mighty
– To Show Grace to the Vilest sinner
– To Die and Rise again for Sinners
– To convert a Sinner to a Saint
– To give Eternal life to mortal human beings
