The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Pray Continually!

Continue earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving. Colossians 4:2

Prayer is one of the core duties and responsibilities of a Christian, it is communication with our God. Not praying is a Sin against God (1 Sam. 12:23). Prayer should become as regular as breathing. Paul exhorts all believers to follow the 3-step process while Praying, praying Earnestlypraying with Vigilance, and praying with Thanksgiving. Our prayers should be serious, with a sincere heart. Sometimes God delays answering our prayers only to give us much more than we have ever asked or imaginedit can also be a resurrection. We always ought to pray and not lose heart (Luke 18:1). We need to pray with vigilance, staying on alert, watchful. Jesus Christ commanded disciples to Watch and Pray as though the end of days was just around the corner, avoid temptation, be aware of the snares of sin, and devil’s schemes. In Colossians chapter 1, we see three main reasons to be thankful to God in our prayers. Thank God for His Provision (Col. 1:12), Thank God for His Power (Col. 1:13), Thank God for His Pardon (Col. 1:14)

Prayer is the breath of the reborn soul, and without it, there can be no Christian life. ~ Rowland Hill
