Trial and Trust and Turn

The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusted in Him, and I am helped;… Psa 28:7
In this Psalm of David , he is seen crying out to his LORD the Rock and pleading to answer his prayers and petitions and not to be silent , But he quickly shifts his focus to giving praises, thanksgiving and rejoicing on the LORD who answers his prayers & rescues him.
Through this Psalm David wants to teach us to walk by faith and not by sight through his personal testimony & walk with the LORD. David recognizes that during the times of despair , only God is his Strength & Shield. Nothing else can protect him .So his heart trusts in the LORD & when he trusts in the Almighty & All powerful God he is helped .In the midst of his pain when it seemed that God was silent , when he changed his focus on God he found joy.
Does it seem like God is far away and your prayers are not being heard today ? Take heart dear child of God because God is never far from hearing his children’s cry.
My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep…(Psa 121: 1)
Our God neither sleeps nor slumbers. We need to trust & wait upon the Lord for help is on its way. Our Faith must come before the answer comes & trust that God’s answer will never be long delayed.
