In this chapter Paul writes about the wonderful mysteries of how to live a life for a born again child of God.
Paul cautions Romans not to take advantage of God’s grace & continue living in sin.
If a person is born again in true sense, then he has died with Christ to the world and rose into life covered by Christ.
When the old sinful person is dead, all his sin is washed by the blood of Jesus Christ. When he comes alive in God then sin has no dominion over him anymore.
So we should not let sin reign in our lives but instead offer ourselves to be slaves of God.
After we are Born again, God is a resident in us; When we walk worthy of his calling (kill sin and do his will), he becomes our president.
While on earth, sin's influence remains, but with the help of God we can get rid of its power over us and walk in a manner pleasing to him.
For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace. Rom 6:14
Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself from these things, he will be a vessel for honor, sanctified, useful to the Master, prepared for every good work. 2 Tim 2:21
