The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

God is our strength

Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore! 1 Chr. 16:11
The “Ark of God” represented God’s throne on earth. It was the symbol of HIS presence among his people during the Old testament period. The Ark was placed in the HOLY OF HOLIES and God’s spirit hovered over it when the Chief priests were present.
In this chapter King David brings the “Ark of God” back to his capital Zion. He wanted to establish that the LORD is the true King of the people of Israel. David sings the psalm & praises to God. David urges people to seek the LORD because He is the Lord our God, He is the Creator of Heaven & Earth, because He is to be feared above all gods, because He is full of strength, because of His holiness, because He is good and His love endures forever, because He is everlasting God.
For us the New testament believers the Veil that separated us from God was torn by the Death & resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We can now boldly enter into the Most Holy Place through the blood of Jesus. Through the blood of Jesus Christ and the guidance of the Holy Spirit we need to seek after God’s face and strength. Seeking his presence & favor continually .Our God is the same yesterday & today. He was the strength of Israel in their battles , similarly if we seek after him and walk in His ways in obedience , God is faithful to be our strength through the battles we fight today.
I can do everything through him who gives me strength [Phil 4:13] Are you seeking after God in your life? Is HE the source of strength in your daily battles ?
