The Lord your God Himself crosses over before you – Deut. 31:3
Moses was 120 years old and he is encouraging the people of God to cross over and possess the promised land that God has given to them. In the initial journey (wilderness) God used Moses to lead His people. In the later half, God raised Joshua to lead His people.
Similarly, in the journey of our life He will guide our path by connecting with the right people at the right time and will make our journey fruitful. However, our focus should be on God. Put not your trust in princes, in mortal man, who cannot save – Psalms 146:3. As he promised, He will never leave you nor forsake you – Hebrews 13:5.
When He says to move like Israelites, we need to pack the tent and keep moving. Bloom where God has planted and be a blessing to people around. We are pilgrims on a journey to heaven.
Prayer: Father God, always help us to focus on you and move in faith. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
