The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Reconciliation with God

… God …. committed to us the word of reconciliation – 2 Cor. 5:19

Meaning of Reconciliation is to restore the relationships that are broken. Here Paul is talking about reconciliation of the whole world (Humanity) with God the father. Jesus paid the price for our reconciliation. He took the punishment on our behalf and imputed his righteousness into us.

God doesn’t desire one soul to perish. People will be punished or judged because they rejected the deal (offer) provided by God – Jesus Christ. No one can enter the Kingdom of God by self-righteousness or by good works.

Scripture clearly says that we are not saved by good works but by faith. It is the gift of God so no one can boast about it. Our faith is that Jesus died on the cross for our sins. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord – Romans 6:23

Prayer:  Father God – Thank you for sending your only son to die on the cross for my iniquities and transgressions and reconciling me with you. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
