… He will hear you, and you will pay your vows – Job 22:27
Eliphaz is urging Job to confess any hidden sins so that God may hear and will deliver him from his afflictions (Skin Disease). In case of Job, the reason for affliction was not Sin but God allowed Satan to afflict him to test whether he genuinely loved God and to show His restoration power.
Sometimes the answers to our prayers are delayed not because of sin but because power of darkness blocking our breakthroughs. As we read in Daniel 10:12-13– when Daniel started praying, God heard his prayer on the first day itself and answered but the prince of Persia was resisting the angel of God for 21 days. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the power of darkness.
You might be praying for a miracle or breakthrough for many days or years. Don’t give up, God has heard your prayer and your answer is on the way. Never cease praying, you might be on the brink of a miracle. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power – Ephesians 6:10
Prayer: Father God, thank you for opening your ears to our prayers. We believe our answer is on the way. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
