The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Get rid of the log from your eye

… First remove the plank from your own eye …. Matt. 7:5

The above words came from the mouth of Jesus. Whenever Jesus says something, it has significance. He is cautioning us not to Judge others.  When we point a finger at someone the other three fingers point towards us.

Sometimes spiritual pride makes us to undermine others.  We judge our own fellow believers or people of God.  For example, one of the great Man of God lost his daughter in a car accident then the Christians started to criticize/judge him saying he lost his daughter because he did something wrong and God punished him by taking his daughter at a very young age. Our duty is not to judge, but instead to pray.

Stubborn and sinful person like me came to Christ because someone prayed for me without judging my character. Let us not be a stumbling block for our brothers – new believers in Christ. Judge not, that you be not Judged – Matt 7:1.

Prayer: Father God, help me not to judge others but instead intercede for fellow believers in Christ. In Jesus name I pray – Amen!!!
