….When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you. Isaiah 43:2
In Isaiah 43:2, the Lord gives great assurance about His protection on His children as they face deep, turbulent waters and as they walk through the fire. God does not promise to keep us out of all trouble. But He does promise to be with us in the midst of it. It is a great thing to know that when the Lord lets His children go through a fiery trial, He always keeps an eye on them.
No matter what we go through in life, God is there with us walking by our side. Though we may feel we are overwhelmed and drowned and burnt, He will uphold us. We often cannot see the way out when we are in the midst of the storm. Therefore, we need to walk with God. This is the hope we have in God that He is always with us every moment of the day. He knows what we will face. We can completely trust Him to walk us through it and to be there when we come out the other side victorious. We will get through it, as long as we trust the Lord and keep our eyes on Jesus. He is the source of our comfort and hope, and He is totally dependable.
