I will walk among you and be your God, and you shall be My people. Leviticus 26:12
The 26th chapter of Leviticus mentions blessings and curses that are consequences of obedience or disobedience to the 2 commandments of God: 1. Do not make idols and 2. Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary.
We have laws, commands, rules, and God’s word – to follow, to obey, but it’s not just for the sake of obedience, it's to do these things so that we might experience life with God. So that God might walk among us, walk among our life, walk among our family, walk among the church that we are part of.
Today whatever situation we are going through, let's ponder upon the 2 commandments of God to examine our lives. Let’s pray and ask the Lord to help us. Rest assured that God is among us, He is part of every facet of our life, His presence is with us and above all, we are called His people.
