Angels are the ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation. Although God does not need angels, sometimes He chooses to use angels to do His will in this world. Angels are powerful beings, and God has legions of them at His disposal. Angels obey God and do what He commands; they are under God's authority and do not act on their own will but on the will of God. If you are a child of God, you have God’s angels protecting you.
God has promised this verse to those who make the Lord their refuge and the Most High their dwelling. We are blessed to have this savior to whom we can run at times of despair, trouble, sickness, agony, fear, anxiety, etc. Having Christ in us has fullness of life in itself. We are encouraged today to run to Him for refuge and have Him as our dwelling, a place of utmost safety.
