The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

God’s Blessings & our thanksgiving

We give thanks to you, O God; we give thanks, for your name is near. We recount your wondrous deeds. Psa. 75:1

The title of Psalm 75 says To the choirmaster: according to Do Not Destroy. A Psalm of Asaph. A Song

Do Not Destroy suggests that the Psalm was composed in a period of impending danger for God's people. It is a prayer of thanksgiving to God before the judgment of God. And giving thanks to God because He is sovereign over everything.

God is High and Holy and yet, amazingly, He is also near & close to us. He is both transcendent and immanent. He is not distant but has instead come close to each one of us so that we know Him and have a personal relationship with Him.

Today, Let us enter His presence by giving thanks and recounting His wondrous deeds in our lives.
