Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Isaiah. 55:6
God is admonishing us individually to seek Him, to seek His forgiveness, to seek Him in repentance, to seek a relationship with Him while He is found. Invitation to seek the Lord is for everyone. He may be found until we live on this earth or until His second coming. What happens after? There will not be an option to choose instead, after life would be the consequence of our choices made. Everyday we ought to seek Him in every situation of our life as well.
We ought to call upon Him while He is near. Anytime we repent and turn to Him, He will respond. God will be more distant if we steep into sin. But like a prodigal son as soon as we call upon Him and repent and come back to Him, He is always waiting to embrace us. No man becomes his friend without desiring it; no one who does not earnestly seek for it.
