The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Finding and Receiving Peace in a Troubled World

Jude 1:2. “May mercy, peace, and love be multiplied to you.” ‭‭ All us wanted peace in our lives. A trouble free life. But as long as we are living in this world we will face the situation and circumstances that come to trouble us. Jesus Himself has not lived happily ever after. But no matter what the situation or circumstances He was placed, He remained in heavenly peace. He was at peace because He is always with His father and His father is always in Him, they are both one and always have a fellowship with each other. Unfortunately due to our sinful nature we lost that connection. But out His mercy He gracefully offer many the same peace to us. We loss our patience and our coolness when we are put in a situation that doesn’t match with our expectations. We trouble our peace with the little things and let the thief steal our peace. Let’s focus in His words and under His words receive our strength and wisdom to overcome our temptations. Jesus gave us a warning and told us very clearly, “I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.” ‭‭We can live a happily ever after life because He has overcome the world. With His mercies we can overcome all the challenges, circumstances, and situations that our tempter might place in our lives. We are called out of the world, from the evil spirit and temper of it; we are called above the world, to higher and better things, to heaven, things unseen and eternal; called from sin to Christ, from vanity to seriousness, from uncleanness to holiness; and this according to the divine purpose and grace. If sanctified and glorified, all the honor and glory must be ascribed to God, and to Him alone.
Promise: “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”
Prayer: Dear Lord Heavenly Father mighty wonderful God. Lord, we lift before You all those that are called and chosen by You to be Your children. Bless each one and may Your grace and mercy enable the peace and love to be poured out abundantly on all those who trust in You (Christ Jesus) and receives as their Savior – and keeps us all under Your mercy to receive the heavenly peace in this troubled world. We pray Lord that You live in us and abide in us in these difficult days in which we live, as we contend earnestly for the faith. In Jesus’s Holy Name, I pray Amen.
Have a blessed day!
