The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Prepare and be ready to possess the inheritance!

Deuteronomy 30:5 “The Lord your God will return you to the land that belonged to your ancestors, and you will possess that land again. Then he will make you even more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors!”
We all like to receive prosperity, happiness, and peace in our lives. In the passage today, we have received the promise from our Lord that He will take us back to “The land that belonged to your ancestors.” We will possess that land again. And this doesn’t end there instead it continues with far more extended blessings. “Then he will make you even more prosperous and numerous than your ancestors!”
If we just observe this verse a little more deeply, the connection it is creating goes back to the place of our real ancestors. The ancestors will be Adam and Eve and the land they originally existed and possess was the garden of Eden. Where there is only peace and joyfulness. The real land we all wanted to be.
The land where God’s presence will be with us always. The unmatchable peace. The true everlasting joy.
So look forward to the blessings ahead of us, do not fret about things that are tangible but mortal. All these things will never bring us true joy and everlasting peace.
Let’s keep our focus on His promise and prepare ourselves for the land of our true ancestors, make us ready to possess that land again once build for us. And enjoy the prosperous numerous blessings.
Promise: “For I command you this day to love the Lord your God and to keep his commands, decrees, and regulations by walking in his ways. If you do this, you will live and multiply, and the Lord your God will bless you and the land you are about to enter and occupy.”
Prayer: Dear Lord Heavenly Father mighty wonderful God. Lord, thank You for the lessons that I can learn from the history of Your people Israel. Help me to make the right choices as I continue along the path of life. I pray, that by Your grace, I would choose to live a victorious life, that trusts Your word, submits to Your will, and honors Your name, in every eventuality of life. May I quickly confess my faults, and choose life – to the saving of the soul, and not death. In Jesus’s Holy Name, I pray Amen.
Have a blessed day!
