The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Build an attitude of continuous thankfulness and praise the one who always provides.

Psalm 117:1 “Praise the Lord, all you nations. Praise him, all you people of the earth.”
Praise is a vital part of a life surrendered to God, and it gives credit where credit is due.
When we do a little act of kindness we expect some recognition of our act. It is natural that we expect to see that person happy and when they simply say thank you we receive a true joy inside ourselves. So how we can ignore all that we receive from the moment we open our eyes on our bed.
Do we have any strength to open our eyes or continue our breath unless He allows us to continue breathing?
The whole book of Psalms is the book of constant praises, and it gives us uncountable reasons why praising our Lord is so important. Examining the reasons and examples, one thing becomes clear. “It is good for us to praise the Lord our creator and redeemers.” When we consider the reasons why we should praise God, we find an endless list of His attributes of mercies we receive every moment of our lives. He is full of glory (Psalm 138:5), He is the great God (Psalm 145:3), the wise and powerful one (Daniel 2:20), the only true goodness (Psalm 107:8), true in His mercies and faithful to all His promises (Psalm 89:1), and much more, our life will not be enough to count all reasons to praise Him. This list of attributes is complemented by a list of His wonderful works. He is the One who saves us (Psalm 18:46), keeps His promises (1 Kings 8:56), pardons our sin (Psalm 103:1-3), and gives us our daily food (Psalm 136:25).
Try to list all the things God has done and soon you will understand that it is impossible to count, but it is a wonderful exercise because it turns our hearts back to Him and keeps us mindful of how much we owe to Him.
Psalm 148:1-10 tells us that all of creation is commanded to give praise to God. When Jesus was entering Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, great crowds gathered and offered Him their praises. The Pharisees wanted Him to rebuke the people, but Jesus answered, “I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out” (Luke 19:40 KJV).
Though many people choose not to praise God right now, there is coming a day in which every knee will bow and every tongue will confess the praises of God (Philippians 2:10-11). Some will joyfully give those praises because of the salvation they have received, while some will give those praises as conquered enemies headed for eternal punishment for their rejection of God.
So let’s praise Him in all circumstances because He knows what He is doing and the only one who has His best interest in us. We are from Him and will return back to Him. Stay blessed and continue to praise Him every moment of your life.
Promise: “For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, He will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.”
Prayer: Dear Lord Heavenly Father mighty wonderful God. Lord, let every tribe, tongue, and nation praise your great name. For there is neither Jew nor Greek; slave nor free; male nor female; for all of us are one in Christ. This is the glorious news of the gospel that is freely given to all people. This gospel message of steadfast love toward all of humanity calls for racial reconciliation and justice. Give us the courage to share this glorious truth to all ethnic and racial backgrounds. Help us to be faithful and committed to sharing the love of God to all our neighbors; For you are not a God of partiality or respecter of certain persons. Instead, you are inclusive to all and faithful to whomever puts their trust in you. Your faithfulness endures forever. Your grace and mercy endure from generation to generation. We praise you for being good. We praise you for reconciling the world to yourself. We extol your great name on the Earth. In Jesus’s Holy Name, I pray Amen.
Have a blessed day!
