Psalm 104:33 “I will sing to the Lord as long as I live; I will sing praise to my God while I have being.” Sing to the Lord … Sing praise to my God. as long as I live.
To me singing is not just an action it is an emotion, a second nature of reflecting happiness and joy. Flowers, mountains, air, birds, the whole creation sings one way or the other. It is a common understanding that we are happy or sad we try listen something that reflects our emotions and some cannot resist and like to express that feeling by singing.
The inner most feeling that reflects our inside feeling. Some sing gently, some burst out loud. The Psalmist is praising and committing about what he can’t resist. We see the reflection of Genesis in his commitment of praising his creator and redeemer.
Day One: motif of Light (Ps. 104:2), Day Two: creation of Firmament, reference to the waters above (Ps.104:2–4), Day Three: appearance of the ground: formation of the earth plants (Ps. 104:5–18), Day Four: luminaries to indicate seasons and time (Ps. 104:19–23), Day Five: first mention of animals in terms of creatures; [22] allusion to birds; [23] and reference to the sea and living beings in it (Ps. )26–104:24, Day Six: food for animals and humankind; gift of life by God for animals and humankind [24] (Ps. 104:27–30), Day Seven: glory of God; [25] allusion to the revelation on Sinai [26] (Ps. 104:31, 32) [27]
Read and see how the psalmist is reminding us and encouraging us for having the attitude of continuous praising for all what He has done and continuously doing every moment we live on this earth. And how He has delivered us our everlasting future. Praise Him because He is worthy of all praises.
Sing “though the storms may come And the winds may blow, I’ll remain steadfast. And let my heart learn when You speak a word. It will come to pass”
Listen to a song (Great is Your faithfulness to me.)
Promise: “God from age to age Though the earth may pass away Your word remains the same.”
Prayer: Dear Lord Heavenly Father mighty wonderful God. Lord, I rejoice that You are my God and I am Your child. May the thoughts of my mind and the meditation of my heart be sweet music in Your ears. May I sing forth Your praises not only in my lips but in my life, by giving up myself into Your holy service and for Your greater glory and honor. How I praise You, for You alone are worthy of all honor and glory, for You alone are the Lord of heaven and earth. Praise the Lord O my soul and all that is within me praise Your holy name. Let everything that within me praise the Lord for all His mercies on me day by day. Though the storms may come and the winds may blow, I’ll remain steadfast. Let my heart learn when You speak a word may everything that has breath sing continuous praise to Him. The one who is worth of all praises. In Jesus’s Holy Name, I pray Amen.
Have a blessed day!
