Therefore do not be unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is. -Eph 5:17
The author of this book is Paul. He wants believers to live out faithfully; rather than imitating the world or being controlled by worldly things; must be alert at all times.
It is very important to be careful because Jesus mentioned “many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold” (Matthew 24:11-12). Surely, we are in those times because the days are evil and sinful
Paul also says how to live life wisely and faithfully is to know GOD’s will and live accordingly. Now, the question is how to get GOD’s will? Paul says, one can get GOD’s will is to read GOD’s WORD daily and practice his will.
So, our main understanding of the will of the Lord comes from a good knowledge of His word.
Before we can know the will of God for our lives, we must be willing to do the will of God.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thanks for giving good health to me and my church family during this pandemic situation. May I ask you for your guidance and protection to live in today’s sinful world as invisible dangers and troubles are hovering around us. In the name of Jesus, Amen
