“Be exalted, O God, above the heavens; Let Your glory be above all the earth.” Psa. 57:5
The glory of God is unfathomable, but stated simply it’s the essence of who God is in His character, beauty, majesty and greatness.
God uses creation to proclaim His glory. God’s glory is also shown in the way, He deals with people, both in His judgment and in His salvation. We are called to have lives that reflect God’s glory and we should long to see God’s glory revealed in all things and in all places.
God calls us to glorify him in all that we do. One of the great ways God glorifies himself is by calling and enabling us, his people, to glorify him through our holy conduct.
God has highly exalted Christ Jesus and made Him Lord over everything (Phil. 2:9-10). He has placed Jesus above all other things. We should, too.
Prayer
Lord, I thank You that Your truth dwells in the atmosphere of worship. Strength and glory are in Your sanctuary. I worship You in the splendor of Your holiness. I praise You because You are mighty, powerful, loving, and kind.
Let Your name be exalted above the heavens and You be glorified above the earth, in Jesus name I pray. Amen!!
