“WEAR – wear the mask, WAIT – wait at least 6 feet apart, and WASH – wash hands often” – these are 3 safe Ws protecting from COVID-19. While we “fellowship” with COVID, the key idea is that we need to learn to live without impacting our lives. If we are disobedient to these instructions, the pandemic is ready to attack us.
Titus 3 says, “We were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.” When we were surrounded by this sinful situation (worse than COVID), today’s verse reminds us that “the kindness and love of God our savior (Jesus) appeared” and saved us by showing His mercy toward us. As the vaccine protects from the COVID, our Lord Jesus protects us from the ultimate effect of sin and grants us the great gift of salvation. If you haven’t trusted Jesus as your personal savior, it is the time to accept Him to save yourself from the ultimate death!
