Restoration meaning, “the action of returning something to a former condition.”
In a remote Swiss village stands a beautiful church and it has the most beautiful pipe organ (musical instrument), which is famous in the region. One day the instrument stopped working, and many experts from worldwide tried to repair it but failed. An older man offered help, but the church staff reluctantly allowed him to repair it. After struggling for a few days, the older man was finally able to fix it. Now the church staff surprised and asked, “How did you manage to restore this magnificent instrument when even the world's experts could not?” Now the older man replied that he was the original creator of the pipe organ.
We are like pipe organs, and we often backslide, and it isn't easy to restore by ourselves. However, when we realize and repent, our creator is ready to restore us from our situation. Our God is the potter, and we are the clay. When the clay breaks, the potter reshapes and restores the clay until it comes to a good shape. Let us continue to seek and trust our Lord, who loves us freely and can heal us from any backsliding!
