“Sing to the Lord a new song, and His praise from the ends of the earth!” – Isaiah 42:10
The promised Messiah, Christ Jesus is the primary focus in this song of praise. The author exhorts all people, both Jew and the Gentiles to sing unto the Lord a new joyful song.
– He urges the inhabitants of the islands and those that go down to the sea in ships to rejoice in the God of our Salvation.
– He calls men and women from the four corners of the earth to rejoice together and sing praises to the God, our Redeemer.
– He urges those that live at the ends of the earth, to give thanks to the God of our Salvation.
As we enter the first Resurrection Sunday of this year 2022, let us raise our voices and sing a new song unto the Lord our God – for He is our Savior and our Redeemer, our Rock and our Strength!
