The LORD has chosen Zion, He has desired it for His dwelling. Psalm 132:13

Promises of Hope

“The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and strengthen your bones.” – Isaiah 58:11

This verse is filled with great promises offering hope to those who truly fast and pray. Let’s dive in:

The Lord will guide us continually: Our lives may be uncertain, bumpy, very dark and we may have no idea where we are heading towards. But Jesus is always with us and will continually lead us when we surrender to Him.

The Lord will satisfy your soul in drought: Just as there are ups and downs in spiritual life, there are also deserts to cross. As we pass through the desert seasons, we experience drought. God provides us His word to refresh and hydrate us.

The Lord will strengthen your bones: In life, we can grow weary due to physical illness, aging or simply from trials that weaken our strength. God sees this need in our life, and He promises to renew our strength.

“Blessed are those whose help is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the LORD their God.” – Psalm 146:5
