Whoever offers praise glorifies Me… I will show the salvation of God. Psalm 50:23
God has created us for His glory, hence glorifying God should be the primary act of every human being. God is pleased by our faith and glorified by our praise. Praising God means acknowledging God’s character and works, declaring who God is and what He does. Praise honors God because of His divine deeds and character. On the other hand, we can see the salvation of God when we order our conduct right. Psalm 50 tells about the greatness of God and three kinds of worshippers, they are heartless worshippers, hypocritical worshippers, and honest worshippers. God is only seeking True Worshippers who worship Him in Truth and in Spirit. The entire world and all its fullness belong to God, whatever we give to Him is only a little of what He gave us. God wants our hearts more than our sacrifices. None of us want to eat delicious food on an unclean plate, likewise, God will only accept our praises when we lead a holy life. Be encouraged today that what you give, little or big, is enough to please God; it is the spirit of the giver that makes all the difference.
