Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin. Ps. 51:2
David pleads to the LORD for His infinite mercy as his iniquities had made him defiled and confesses that he has sinned against God.
When we admit ourselves to be sinners and pray to God to wash from our sins, He is faithful to forgive us and cleanses us from all our unrighteousness. Those who truly repent and pour out their souls to the LORD will have a new life in Christ.
